NetJets Longitude Initial Systems Practice Test

Fire suppression on this jet uses dedicated extinguishing bottles for each high‑risk area. There are three bottles in total: one for each engine and one for the APU. Each engine has its own bottle so a fire in that engine bay can be addressed independently, while the APU has its own bottle in its bay to rapidly suppress any APU fire without impacting the engines. The system is activated by the respective fire sensors and cockpit fire push buttons, which release the correct bottle into the corresponding compartment. This arrangement provides targeted, rapid protection for all primary power sources.
